i'm apparently incapable of making actual art right now, so i decided to be tooly and make a stamp. it's kind of a half-assed stamp, but it's a stamp none the less, and hopefully it gets its point across.
deviantart is for art YOU make yourself. it is not a place to house art you find on the internet and happen to like and want to show people. it is not a place to upload screen caps of shows you like, or bits of manga you happen to think are pretty. deviantart is NOT photobucket. i bet this stamp could be way fancier and better and its message way clearer. oh well. if you want to link it on your page or whatever people do with these stamps feel free to. i need to start drawing more so i don't do stuff like this. p.s. the title is a song reference and may be ignored. |

You said it, people that think DA is some sort of photobucket...
It's kind of depressing, but luckily they either get banned fast, or at least flamed fast.
Although. As for using someone else's work on your desktop screenshot, as long as proper credit/linkage is given (and in my opinion, it's an actual shot with icons and everything), I really don't have a problem with that.
But yeah, I've started populating my Shoutboard with stamps, and I think this is a good addition. ^_^ Great job!
